Play in Sign Language

Learn how to sign play in ASL (American Sign Language). You can play everyday… at home, and with Alex and Leah!

  1. With both hands: Extend the thumb and pinky fingers out and tuck the remaining fingers into the palm of the hands.
  2. Hold both of your hands in this shape out a little bit from your body and about shoulder height.
  3. Rotate the wrists to twist the hands back and forth a few times.
  4. This sign is as fun to do as it is to play! Use this cue to help you remember the sign.
